What will your day look like?
- Monitoring and checking in with trainers and trainees at all levels in their respective area.
- - Collect Feedback and evaluate it for improvements/what is going well.
- - Building collaborative relationships with management, trainers, and trainees.
- Train/Monitor New Hires in assigned area
- - Ensure all new hires are paired with a “buddy” (trainer) to help them learn their first 2 weeks.
- - Evaluate, assess, and provide feedback using the training checklists for area specific manufacturing skills (Packer 1,2 3, Line leads etc.)
- - Focus on safety in training situations.
- Ensure employees who are moving into an assigned are – whether through transfer or promotions are being trained and completing their training checklists with a designated trainer when learning their new skill within 3 weeks of their effective date.
- Monitor training timelines for all skills being learned by everyone on the line(s) in their own area as well as in other areas.
- Complete and turn in employee training records to Training Coordinator II for entry.
- Train employees on their shift regarding topics including, but not limited to Quality, Safety, Process Improvements, 5S and Lean topics
- Work with Training Coordinator and Training Manager to monitor training matrix and progress of trainees
- Work with Supervisors and Training Manager to get training done in huddles
- - Show initiative to identify issues and provide possible solutions to management.
- - Collaborate with management, trainers and line leads to promote a positive and open learning environment.
- Other duties as assigned

QualificationsWhat will you bring to the table?
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated performance in training employees
- Knowledge of training methodologies (ADDIE methodology, Adult Learning Model, etc.)
- Process understanding, analyzing information, good judgment.
- Communication Skills – ability to provide positive and constructive feedback to trainees and hold them accountable to performing to the standard
- Positive characterization by sense of urgency, ownership, and pride.
- Demonstrated performance in continuous improvements (5S, safety and quality improvements, etc.)
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative.
- The ability to work as needed to cover production demands, monitor/train individuals and to multitask.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint applications.
- The ability to present in small and large group forums.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see and use repetitive motions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds of material, boxes, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
