– What to expect:

The Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and monitoring operational training and recertification programmes, ensuring training is delivered consistently and standardised across all shifts and teams. The role focuses on competency training administration, maintaining and updating procedures, driving continuous improvement in training materials and processes, supporting employee development, and reducing non-conformance to company policies and procedures. Working closely with Operations and Support functions, the Training Coordinator reports to the Compliance & Training Leader, provides cover in their absence, and may be required to work flexibly across shift patterns as approved by the Line Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor a timely delivery of SOP/WI/Policy changes – liaise with trainers, making sure that operators are re-trained as and when required.
  • Develop new training needs/techniques for the department.
  • Ensure standardised training exists across departments and shifts.
  • Review QFB’s, CAPA’s and NCR’s highlighting training needs depending on the root cause.
  • Highlight to TL’s any performance issues or possible development opportunities. Identify cross training needs within the department.
  • Deliver and manage Day 1 local induction programmes for new employees.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies to coordinate and support the onboarding of new starters.
  • Manage and monitor training requirements for new starters, including cross-training activities.
  • Create, update, and maintain Training Course Documents (TCDs).
  • Develop, update, and manage ClassMarker (CM) tests and assessment questions; invigilate CM testing across all shifts to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant training records across all relevant systems.
  • Ensure employees are assigned to the correct training positions within Agile.
  • Raise Document Change Requests (DCRs) on behalf of departments when Team Owners are unavailable to do so.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) Document Control team to maintain regulatory and procedural compliance.
  • Provide administrative support for Lift Truck Instructor activities at DP, ensuring compliance with training and certification requirements.
  • Launch and administer monthly performance appraisals through the VIP system, including ongoing system management.
  • Maintain personnel records and ensure all systems are updated promptly with new starters and leavers.
  • Provide support to Team Leader with any CV Academy related issues, including password resets and access problems
  • Support HR with Code of Conduct recertification sessions and Gallup surveys
  • Be first point of contact to support Level 3 Operators for system training needs and issues.

Experience & Education:

  • Continuous improvement/change orientation

  • Proven administration and coordinator experience
  • Previous experience in an Operations environment
  • Competent with all Office applications and working knowledge of Computer systems
  • Competency in operating compliance/training software
  • Previous experience of training others
  • Previous experience in building and updating procedures
  • Level 3 GCSC or equivalent.
  • Good general standard of education.
