Training & Center Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Training & Center Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our Center while delivering exceptional technical demonstrations, customer experiences, and training support. About the Role

As a Training & Center Specialist, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and evaluating machine demonstrations and technical activities that support customer visits, training programs, events, field testing, and sales initiatives. You will help ensure our Center operates efficiently while creating memorable experiences that strengthen our brand and drive business growth.

Working closely with Center Specialists, Training teams, Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners, you will contribute to the development and execution of activities that showcase Sandvik Coromant's solutions and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, execute, and evaluate machine demonstrations, customer tests, technical events, and training activities.
• Support customer visits and ensure an exceptional customer experience within the Center.
• Coordinate facility operations, machine time allocation, equipment maintenance, and the setup of new equipment.
• Develop customized demonstration schedules and technical support materials.
• Support Center certification initiatives and ensure compliance with global standards.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to identify business opportunities.
• Support quality processes by monitoring results, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Training, and Product teams to maximize Center utilization and business impact.
• Drive digitalization initiatives through innovative technologies such as e-learning, virtual demonstrations, connectivity solutions, and virtual reality.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities related to Center operations.
• Build and maintain partnerships with CAM software suppliers and other strategic stakeholders.
• Benchmark best practices and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, customer value, and business performance.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a metal cutting, machining, or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of CAM and CNC programming.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling applications, and manufacturing technologies.
• Experience supporting technical demonstrations, customer testing, or application engineering activities.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems such as Dynamics or similar ERP/CRM platforms.
