About the Role

AIM is seeking experienced Contract Trainers and Assessors to deliver the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. This role is ideal for professionals with strong financial services experience and a passion for adult education. You’ll facilitate engaging online learning experiences, mentor students, and assess competency in line with national standards.

You’ll work closely with AIM’s academic and delivery teams to bring accounting and bookkeeping concepts to life through practical, real-world examples. This is a flexible, independent contractor role suited to educators who thrive in virtual environments and are committed to learner success.

Please note: Successful candidates will be engaged as independent contractors and must have their own ABN or ACN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment for Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Coach and mentor students through online platforms, tutorials, and workshops
  • Apply adult learning principles to create inclusive and engaging learning environments
  • Translate learning materials into practical, real-life scenarios
  • Provide academic support and feedback to learners across varied experience levels
  • Ensure compliance with RTO policies, AQF, AQTF, and national standards
  • Collaborate with AIM teams to enhance course delivery and learner outcomes

About You

  • Minimum five years’ experience in VET training and assessment
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Relevant VET qualification in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor adult learners
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Experience delivering training to domestic students in online formats
  • Ability to manage time independently and present professionally
  • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and LMS tools
  • Passionate about vocational education and continuous learning
