Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary
Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
Job Shift: DayProvides training and coordination of mandatory requirements of employee competencies and certifications in accordance with state regulations and additional training as required by Delta.  Manages record keeping of training and supports the functions of training for all employees.
Reports to the Training Manager

Qualifications
- Participate in departmental needs assessments to identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
- Use classroom management practices and facilitation skills to generate an interactive and positive learning experience that enables participants to ultimately apply knowledge gained.
- Use instructional design principles to develop new training courses that effectively deliver content in a variety of approaches to those with all learning styles and are culturally sensitive.
- In conjunction with other stakeholders create and deliver New Employee Orientation, First Aid, CPR, and any other training required by Delta.
- Collaborate in the design and maintenance of the new employee orientation training manual to include relevant policies, procedures, systems, and communication protocols.
- Administer online training through various learning websites, and track transcripts for reporting purposes. Maintain records of employee annual certifications for CPR/First Aid/Fire Safety/etc.
- Provide trainings at all locations as scheduled. Use PowerPoint, Zoom, and other presentation systems effectively.
- Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.
- Assist the department in assessing instructional effectiveness and determining the impact of training on employee skills and KPI’s.
- Serve as an Administrator of the LMS to build department course programs, track training and provide reports as requested.
- Promote and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times ensuring employees conduct themselves in a similar manner.
- Use professional writing skills when communicating and developing training materials.
- Attend meetings, conferences, seminars and training to build knowledge and skills to enhance job performance. Research and recommend new training methods.
- Create and maintain training calendar and coordinate with department Subject Matter Experts to coordinate specialized training as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate quarterly Medication Administration Reviews for new employees and annual reviews.
- Prepare required and requested reports.
- Maximize the development of employees and effectively articulate the mission and values of Delta through positive and supportive communication.
- Support Trainer III with various responsibilities.
- Effectively communicate the company’s vision, mission, core values and guiding support principles to support recipients, their families, employees, funding and accreditation agency personnel and the community.
- May be responsible for the daily oversight of the Training Assistant
- Perform other such duties as may be assigned for providing excellent customer service and for the most effective operation of the company.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Driver’s license valid in the state of residence; and
- Five (5) years training experience in Human Services field. Appropriate additional experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements and vice versa.
