
At UGL Utilities Operations & Maintenance, we're growing our training capability to support qualified lineworkers across Australia.
We're seeking an experienced Electricity Supply Industry professional to deliver training and assessment aligned to Distribution Overhead, Glove & Barrier and HV operating procedures.
This ongoing casual role supplements our established training team and provides the opportunity to coach and develop lineworkers while remaining connected to the industry.
The Role
Reporting to the HSEQ Operations Manager, you'll support workforce development across UGL's Operations & Maintenance contracts while delivering high-quality training and assessment aligned to:
UET30621 Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead
Glove & Barrier work methods
High Voltage Operating Procedures
Refresher and competency-based training programs
Key Responsibilities
Deliver training and competency-based assessments aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
Provide coaching, mentoring and field-based support to apprentices, trainees and lineworkers.
Conduct competency observations and support workforce capability development initiatives.
Contribute to the review and improvement of training materials, work practices and operational documentation.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with RTO, ASQA and business requirements.
Location: Based from our Tullamarine (VIC), with regular travel supporting contracts across Victoria, Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
What You'll Need
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
Significant Victorian Electricity Supply Industry experience including Distribution Overhead.
Extensive Glove & Barrier knowledge and practical field experience.
Experience delivering training, assessment and workforce coaching.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce.
