Trainer Assessor

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Trainer Assessor to join our team at Tropicana In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality operational training ensuring our production workforce meets all compliance, safety, and performance standards.

Tropicana operates a modern and diverse fleet including CAT 6060, 6040 & Hitachi 5600, 2600, 1900 Excavators, CAT D10T2, D11T2 Dozers, CAT 993, 992 Loaders, CAT 16M, 18M Graders, Wheel Dozer 854K and CAT 793F, 789, 785 Dump Trucks. Tropicana uses Minestar fleet management system.

About the role

  • 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie (days only) Wednesday-Wednesday.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain proficiency for operation of equipment.
  • Undertake field observations for performance of personnel operating procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date and skilled in your operations.
  • Ensure compliance of training schedule and allocated training requirements.

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a mine site environment.
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 / TAE40116 / TAE40110.
  • Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in training and operating a variety of machinery including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders and haul trucks.
