Job Description

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 8AM-4:30PM
Pay starting at: $17/hr

General Summary
The Trainer is responsible for onboarding, mentoring, and training new hires on safety procedures, operational workflows, and powered equipment operation, such as forklifts, to ensure efficiency and compliance with OSHA and company SOPs. Review and analyze work instructions, training materials and work with leadership on any necessary revisions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide effective initial training and cross training for employees, vendors and agency employees if applicable
  • Maintain accurate training records and update training materials as necessary to reflect current best practices
  • Observe trainee performance and provide real‑time coaching and constructive feedback
  • Identify skill gaps and escalate training or performance concerns to Leadership
  • Support retraining, refresher training, and cross‑training as needed due to process or quality changes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to training consistency and workforce readiness
  • Act as a mentor to new employees, fostering a positive, safety-conscious work culture.

  • All other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience training and/or mentoring employees in a warehouse setting
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate processes and explain expectations to new employees
  • Strong communication skills with a patient, supportive coaching style
  • Attention to detail and commitment to consistent, repeatable training
  • Basic computer skills for training documentation and tracking
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.
