PA0736 Administration Center

The Trainer is responsible for delivering training for employees throughout Northwest, both in the classroom and online settings and consistently providing the best customer experience possible. This position helps to identify, recommend, and present new training courses and curriculums

while assisting in the preparation of course / curriculum materials.

Essential Functions

  • Consistently provide the best customer experience possible
  • Provide support to staff in meeting customer expectations
  • Recommend improvements to procedures
  • Collect and share recommendations and feedback from training participants regarding training needs as applicable
  • Train employees as required both in the classroom and online settings
  • Assess employee performance in training and providing feedback to supervisors as appropriate
  • Assist in the identification, recommendation and presentation of new training curriculums, topics, courses and methods
  • Assist in ensuring that all course content is relevant and up to date
  • Responsible for training efforts in mergers, acquisitions and training project roll-outs
  • Assist in the preparation of course / curriculum materials as needed
  • Stay current on learning tools, trends, and ideas
  • Maximize operating efficiencies
  • Minimize operating expenses
  • Ensure compliance with third party vendors
  • Ensure accuracy of course materials
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
  • Work as part of a team
  • Work with on-site equipment

Education and Experience Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Education, Teaching, or related subject
  • 3-5 years of training experience, customer service experience and banking experience
