The opportunity:

Kick-start your career with this entry-level opportunity and gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in Business. You will join our team of Operations Controllers to support the day-to-day operations and develop essential administrative skills in a dynamic work environment.

This is a hands-on role where you will learn the dynamic operations of a bus depot. You will work closely with the Operations Controllers and drivers who are integral in ensuring we deliver our services safely and on time.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Provide general administrative support to key stakeholders across the Mackay Depot.
  • Assist with documentation and data input across a variety of functions, including payroll, compliance, training and operations.
  • Achieving accredited certification obtained by completing the traineeship - Cert III Business Administration
  • Attend meetings as required, take meeting minutes, distribute documentation prior to and following meetings, ensure action points are followed up
  • Maintain various databases, platforms and systems

  • You need to be enthusiastic and ready to learn.
  • This role requires great communication skills, and someone who loves being part of a team, but you'll learn the rest.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and positive approach to a continual changing work environment
  • Ideally you have a current car licence
