At TT Electronics, Abercynon, we're hiring for a Trainee Wire Person to join our assembly teams on permanent basis.

As a Trainee Wire Person, you'll work to Manufacturing Operating Procedures (SOP's) to manufacture complete cable harness assemblies, including measuring cable lengths, cable stripping, contact crimping and soldering

We'll provide the very best in training to support you and we'll support your development and learning as you progress.

If you've worked in a factory environment that’s ideal, but a willingness to learn and be part of this team is most important.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

We're looking for people who want to deliver high standards, work as part of a team, who are not afraid of working hard and delivering high standards.

You'll be required to work within a team but also unsupervised to meet deadlines. You'll need to be flexible as depending on production volumes you may be moved between production departments.

Previous factory experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

Attention to detail is key and a high level of accuracy to avoid any errors.

Hours of work

  • Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm
  • Friday 7.30am to 12.15pm

Our Recruitment Process

Formal Interviews will be held on site and include a tour of the facility.

Please be aware that many roles at TT Electronics are subject to both security and export control restrictions which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). TT Electronics is unable to sponsor work visas for this role.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake and pass pre and during employment drug and alcohol testing.
