Join our Core Platform team as a Trainee Tester and help ensure the quality of our ServiceNow-based internal developments. You will work in an international Scrum environment and collaborate closely with the Business Analyst, Product Owner, and developers, and learn how to design, execute, and document test cases that help ensure stable, high-quality releases for our internal stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Review user stories and acceptance criteria with the BA or developers.
  • Design, maintain, and document manual test cases in ServiceNow Test Management 2.0
  • Execute tests according to release milestones and deadlines.
  • Log and follow up on defects in alignment with the BA/PO/developers.
  • Support regression testing preparation by writing clear, automation‑friendly test cases.
  • Participate in selected Scrum activities and communicate progress regularly.

Qualifications

We are looking for you, if you have…

  • Active full-time university student status for at least 1.5–2 more years.
  • Clear English communication skills for Scrum meetings, alignment calls, and written follow‑ups.
  • Interest in software testing or software development processes.
  • Basic understanding of web applications (no deep technical skills needed).
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn
  • Availability of at least ~20 hours per week.

Nice-to-have

  • Basic programming or JavaScript knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or ISTQB principles.
  • Experience with any issue tracking tool (Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, etc.).
