About the role
In this newly created role, based out of Newcastle, you will support the contract growing team
responsible for the overall success of our egg production operations in the Northern region of NSW.
You'll learn all aspects of the flock, from day-old chicks to laying hens, vaccination processes from
start to finish, ensuring the flocks health, well-being, and optimal egg production is always achieved.
As a key member of the team, you’ll contribute to delivering effective production management
initiatives for NSW. You’ll ensure that the highest industry standards for governance and compliance
are upheld, maintaining productive and efficient farm operations. Successful cross-collaboration between key stakeholders across various farm locations is of utmost importance. Your role in this regard is to assume a training position, learning the key aspects of poultry farming, you will be guided by the leadership Team that call Pace Farm home and have done for many decades, The team will guide you through 'Best Practice' farm management and continuous improvement initiatives, providing you with a solid foundation in poultry farming.
What you’ll do

qualification or a few years’ experience working on farms, but what matters most is your attitude.
You’re reliable, proactive, and genuinely care about animal welfare. You’re comfortable working
independently and as part of a team, adapt well when things change, and enjoy problem-solving on the go. You communicate clearly, take pride in your work, and are willing to be on call for farm emergencies when needed.
