Job Description

Due to recent growth and future expansion goals, Tritech Solutions is currently looking for a Trainee Systems Specialist to join our team.

About the role:

This Traineeship will give you the opportunity to complete a Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) whilst gaining on-the-job experience in the security industry, supported by IT professionals.

You will assist the Systems Specialists in a variety of tasks, including:

• The programming, commissioning and testing of installed security systems applications (Video Management Systems (VMS), Access control) all connected via IP networks at customer sites or part of a new project development.

• Configuring of hardware, including servers, networking equipment and electronic hardware

• Configuration of software applications to support the security systems being deployed.

• Research products specific to our customers or a project requirement.

• Complete commissioning documentation for the project (ITP’s)

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Previous IP network experience

• An interest in electronics and electrical hardware

• An interest in software application configuration

• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills

• Ability to follow instructions

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Requirements for employment:

• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment

• Annual Australian Federal Police (AFP) check

• NSW Drivers licence and motor vehicle

• White Card (OHS General Industry Induction certificate)

• Our team supports essential service industries, as such our entire team is required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
