Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic students to work as trainees in our strategy-, business development and market intelligence teams at Nokia Technology Standards. We have positions open in multiple teams which are driving analysis and content development for business and portfolio strategy, as well as on business development and market intelligence work, such as market and company analysis to develop new licensing opportunities, support negotiations and close licensing deals.

As a trainee, your tasks will revolve around market analysis, company research, and business development in the realm of technology – be it consumer devices, enterprise equipment, services, or anything in between. You will for example support strategy and licensing projects relying on cutting-edge technologies by conducting analyses and creating presentations.

The duration of the internship is about a year, with starting dates from the end of 2026 to summer 2027, and with the option of part-time work alongside studies. The work location and teams are based at the Nokia Headquarters at Karaportti, Espoo, with some flexibility for remote hybrid work.

• Collect and analyse information about markets in the industries where our licensees operate and in potential new licensing verticals
• Analyse individual companies as potential licensees
• Create presentation materials for strategy, market updates, decision-making and licensing negotiations
• Draw insights from data and perform other tasks related to strategy creation, business development, or market / business intelligence, such as building and maintaining market models and associated dashboards
• Relevant university level studies (active student status in the EU required throughout the internship)
• Experiences highlighting your analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills
• Drive for professional development and curiosity to learn about Nokia and the industry
• Good skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in English
