Trainee Software Developer–Contour

The Position:
We are looking for Trainee Software Developers to join one of our R&D teams. The selected candidates will be trained for 3 to6months to become good developerscapable of working on enterprise-level applications.Following the completion of the internship period, thereis a good chance of securingfull-time employment based on satisfactory performance during the internship.

The chosen individuals will work out of the Contour SoftwareIslamabadresourcecenteroffice, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Strong understanding ofobject-orientedprogramming principles.

• Good programming conceptsand knowledge ofJava,NET,or Pythonprogramming

• Good programming conceptsand knowledge of frontend programming with HTML, CSS, andJavaScript.

• Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Strong relational database concepts with SQL queries.

• Strongknowledge of differentcode generationAI tools,LLM,andMachineLearningconcepts.

• Goodknowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and their use in software development.

• Good knowledgeofAI-assisted development tools,such as code generation orproductivity tools such asGithubCopilot, Cursor etc

• Good knowledge ofSQL Server

• Good levelof knowledge of REST APIs.

• A quick learner, with attention to detail, andacommitment to meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices

• Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
