During your 4-month Traineeship you can start your career with Pollmeier and help shape the future of the timber industry. In our Sales team, you will analyze markets and business opportunities using modern systems and data-driven insights, while working closely with colleagues to develop high-quality, customer-focused solutions with strong commercial value.

Your Traineeship

• You will complete a one-month production training program in Germany to gain a comprehensive understanding of our manufacturing processes and beech products
• You will conduct market research for selected European markets based on the priorities defined by the Sales Manager
• You will identify and analyze potential customers and develop an understanding of the key applications and industries in which beech products are used
• You will collect, structure, and maintain relevant market and customer information in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data
• You will participate in customer visits together with the Sales Manager to support business development and gain practical experience in customer acquisition and sales activities

What we are looking for

• Enrollment in or completion of a degree program focused on Wood Technology, Forestry, Timber Engineering, or similar disciplines
• Willingness to work on-site at our office in Brasov/Romania
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proactive and solution-oriented way of working
• Genuine interest in sales and business development, paired with a commercial mindset and enthusiasm for identifying new business opportunities
• Native-level Romanian and good English skills, any additional language is considered a plus
