Our store

The Specsavers store in Yate is a busy, customer-focused optical and audiology practice, dedicated to delivering high-quality eye and hearing care services to the local community. Conveniently located within the popular Yate Shopping Centre, the store benefits from a high footfall and a vibrant retail environment, with a wide range of shops, cafés, and amenities nearby. The area offers ample parking options and is well-served by local bus routes, while Yate train station is just a short distance away, providing easy connections to Bristol and surrounding areas. This accessible and well-connected location makes it an attractive and convenient place to work for both local residents and commuters alike.

Our team

The store is supported by a friendly and experienced team of 18 colleagues, creating a welcoming and collaborative working environment. The team brings together a mix of clinical and retail expertise, with everyone working closely to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store and a high standard of care for customers. There is a strong focus on teamwork, with colleagues supporting one another to achieve shared goals, develop their skills, and maintain a positive and engaging workplace culture.

  • Welcoming customers into store
  • Booking in eye tests
  • Pre-screening patients
  • Providing style advice
  • Measuring frames
  • Taking phone call
