Our Trainee Program for Germany is designed for 18 months and aims to jumpstart your career with a unique journey within the Hitachi Energy community. It will take you through three to four work assignments focused on Operations & Engineering within our young and growing Service Business Unit, one of the placements will be used to gain first internation experience within our large network across the globe, and then conclude with establishing yourself in a permanent position within Hitachi Energy.

During this journey you will learn more about how we are operating in one of the largest local service unit within Hitachi Energy across our portfolio in high voltage products such as transformers, gas insulated switchgears and much more.

Your responsibilities

  • Join a team of experienced professionals, collaborate with local and international colleagues and contribute to our volume growth activities supporting the energy transition in Globally
  • Gain broad and deep understanding of Hitachi Energy’s operation processes and the regular activities in a large service organization
  • Support our sales and marketing team by developing operational solution based on the customer needs
  • Develop strategies to apply global driven digital initiatives into the local organization by fulfilling customer needs
  • You will work in a collaborative environment that encourages all voices to share their unique perspectives and fuel innovation. We strongly believe in Diversity + Collaboration = Innovation

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical or industrial engineering or similar
  • Good knowledge about operational tasks in an industrial service environment, ideally in the area of complex special machinery
  • Good knowledge in lean management
  • Proficient in written and spoken German and English
  • High willingness to learn and motivation to engage in new topics
  • Self-driven, analytical team player with strong communication skills
  • International mobility required for your assignments
