About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Accounting and Finance team as a Trainee Financial Accountant in Birmingham.

As a Trainee Financial Accountant, you will work within the Accounting and Tax Team to support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and month-end processes across the Group. The role provides hands-on exposure to core financial accounting & tax activities while supporting your development towards a professional accounting qualification

About you:

We’re looking for an individual with a strong eye for detail and a well‑organised, hands‑on approach, who is confident working with data and comfortable using Excel.

You’ll bring strong interpersonal skills and enjoy building effective working relationships, alongside clear and professional communication. A proactive mindset is key, with a genuine willingness to learn, take ownership of tasks and data, and continually look for ways to improve how things are done.

Role Specific Knowledge & Experience

  • We are open to applications from both graduate and school‑leaver candidates who can demonstrate a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Commitment to studying towards a relevant professional accounting qualification alongside work
