We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Trainee Executive – Hotel Operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for travel, a deep understanding of hotel operations and excellent customer service skills. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals.

The Trainee Executive – Hotel Operations is responsible for supporting the hotel booking team in managing accommodation requests for corporate travelers, seafarers, executives, and VIP/CIP travelers. The role provides hands-on exposure to hotel reservation processes, supplier coordination, customer service, and travel operations while ensuring timely and accurate execution of booking requests.

The position is responsible for performing the following activities

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Assist in processing hotel booking requests and obtaining accommodation options
  • Coordinate with hotels and suppliers for reservations, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations
  • Support the team in maintaining accurate booking records and documentation
  • Respond to routine accommodation-related queries from travelers and stakeholders
  • Monitor booking requests and follow up on pending confirmations
  • Ensure booking data is accurately updated in the relevant systems
  • Assist in preparing operational reports and booking summaries
  • Support handling of urgent booking changes and operational requirements
  • Build basic knowledge of hotel sourcing, supplier management, and travel policies
  • Follow company procedures, service standards, and compliance requirements

Qualification: Mandatory Requirements

  • Graduate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or any related discipline
  • Freshers with relevant educational qualifications are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in hotel reservations, travel operations, hospitality, customer service, or back-office operations may also be considered
  • Certification in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, IATA Foundation, Amadeus, Galileo, or similar travel-related programs will be an added advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ready to work in shifts on rotational basic including Night shifts
