About the Role

As an Engineering Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the software domain within SBU Connectivity, enabling smooth day‑to‑day operations and effective collaboration across teams. The role focuses on organizing activities, managing logistics, and maintaining accurate records to support engineering execution and customer engagement.

You will coordinate workshops, customer and stakeholder visits, and related events, while supporting administrative processes such as visitor invitation management, local procurement coordination, and time‑booking tracking. By ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication, this role helps engineering teams stay focused on technical delivery while maintaining operational efficiency and organizational compliance.

What You Will Do

Activity & Event Co-ordination

  • Coordinate engineering workshops, meetings, customer visits, demonstrations, and stakeholder events.
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and readiness to ensure smooth execution of activities.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support day‑to‑day administrative activities for the engineering organization.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, trackers, and coordination logs.

Visitor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage visitor invitations and related administrative processes.
  • Act as a coordination point for customer and stakeholder engagements, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Procurement & Resource Co-ordination

  • Support local procurement activities for engineering teams, including request submission and tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal functions to ensure timely availability of required resources.

Time Booking & Data Tracking

  • Track and maintain time‑booking data for engineering teams.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updates to support reporting and operational efficiency.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ year of Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operational support role within an engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, customer visits, or events.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
  • Comfortable working with structured processes and compliance requirements.
  • Flexible, proactive, and service‑oriented mindset.

What is Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in an engineering, software, or technical organization, particularly in a coordination or administrative support role.
  • Familiarity with project tracking or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Project).
  • Basic understanding of procurement, vendor coordination, or internal purchasing processes.
  • Exposure to time‑booking, effort tracking, or resource reporting systems.
