We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic “Trainee Engineer” to join our EPC team focused on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar PV projects in the UAE market. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh engineering graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about renewable energy and eager to build a career in the fast-growing solar industry.
You will be trained and mentored by experienced professionals across all stages of solar project execution, from design and engineering to procurement, construction, and commissioning. The role offers significant hands-on experience, site exposure, and technical learning in a professional EPC environment.
Assist in the technical design and engineering of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope).
Support the preparation of project drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical documentation.
Participate in site surveys, inspections, and assessments under supervision.
Help coordinate with procurement, logistics, and construction teams for timely project execution.
Monitor site activities, support quality control checks, and assist with HSE compliance tracking.
Work with the team to ensure regulatory and DEWA/Dubai Municipality compliance.
Contribute to project documentation, including as-built drawings and commissioning reports.
Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, components, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in EEE, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
Internship or academic project experience in solar or renewable energy is preferred, not mandatory.
Strong interest in solar PV systems, sustainability, and clean energy technologies.
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, PV components, and solar design principles.
Familiarity with software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and PV simulation tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to site-based working conditions.
Ability to travel independently to project sites within the UAE.
