• 
  Independently create and optimize preliminary conceptual design layouts and schematics for grid tied photovoltaic power plants and battery storage systems.
• 
  Assist sales team in interacting with clients and conveying technical details.
• 
  Coordination with the construction & commissioning team
• 
  Perform broad range of engineering calculations - and use of software tools
• 
  Use his/her experience to assist the project team in making design decisions and build
  consensus within the team.
• 
  Work cross-functionally with sales, project support team and installation teams.
• 
  Performing Site survey and Assisting site surveys.

Requirements

• 
  2-3 years’ experience in design of solar power systems (1-2 years’ experience in solar rooftop
  systems)
• 
  Knowledge in National Electrical Code
• 
  Knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical and construction safety including training and
  requirements.
• 
  Must be proficient in Pvsyst/Helioscope/Aurora (or equivalent) and Google Sketch up.
• 
  Must be proficient in preparing Bill of Material.
• 
  Must be proficient in preparing detailed Drawings.
• 
  Proficient with MS Office
• 
  Strong AUTOCAD skills.
• 
  Ability to think critically, comfort in collaborating with cross-functional team members, and a
  passion for delivering high quality results
• 
  Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and good command of Technical
  writing skills
• 
  Ability to organize and prioritise work.
• 
  Ability to think analytically.
• 
  Must be willing to travel to project sites per company requirement.
