Global Markets Corporate Sales

What you do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Actively provide market solutions across different asset classes (FX, interest rates, commodities, investment) to Wholesale Banking clients ensuring their financial needs are met effectively.
  • Maintain and build a high standard of customer to enhance the bank’s market presence and franchise, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant business and product partners to market hedging and investment products within Global Markets.
  • Keeping abreast of relevant market and economic events affecting financial markets and prices, providing timely market information and insights to clients.
  • Develop and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor and go-to person for financial solutions.
  • Facilitate the transition of clients to multi-product usage and strategically cross-sell additional products.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal and external regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance/Business related or STEM.
  • Required to have a strong aptitude for understanding numerical and technical concepts and demonstrate the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Articulate with good interpersonal & negotiation skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Successful candidates without prior Global Markets experience will be provided with comprehensive on-the-job training.
  • Successful candidate is expected to pass the Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PKMC) license examination within 6 months of joining Global Markets
  • Any (CFS/GWB) customer relationship and/or product coverage experience, along with conversational Mandarin would be an advantage.
