The Opportunity:

Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver Program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes:

  • A friendly and supportive environment
  • An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on-road training
  • Training to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
  • A 12-month training program (mix of classroom and on the job training) to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus)
  • Industry leading pay throughout your training
  • You will be assigned a buddy throughout the training process to support your development
  • Depot location - Doncaster East

We’re after people with:

  • Excellent customer service skills and who enjoy working with people
  • A current Australian car driver’s licence (full licence held for minimum 2 years)
  • Hold Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
  • Willingness to have a pre‐employment functional, drug and alcohol assessment
  • Willingness to obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Children Check

**Please note those shortlisted must attend an assessment centre from our North Fitzroy depot.
