Responsibilities:

Program Overview

The Engineering Trainee Program is a structured 12-month development program designed to equip fresh graduates with strong technical and leadership capabilities. The program begins with 1 month of classroom training in Dumai, followed by 11 months of on-the-job training across assigned operational sites (Dumai, Balikpapan, Padang, and Marunda), including involvement in a Continuous Improvement Project.

Upon successful completion, participants will be placed as permanent staff and are required to serve a two-year bonding period at their assigned location.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured classroom and on-site training programs to develop core engineering competencies

  • ·Support daily operational activities and ensure alignment with company standards in safety, quality, and productivity

  • Engage in cross-functional projects to gain exposure to end-to-end business processes

  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives

  • Analyze operational data and provide insights for efficiency and performance enhancement

  • Collaborate with supervisors and mentors to achieve individual development goals

  • Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and learning outcomes


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00 or a Master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.25 (fresh graduates or have a maximum of 2 years of work experience).

  • Majors: Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Passionate about the palm oil industry and eager to learn

  • Open to relocation for career advancement
