Trainee Account Broker

Location: Glasgow (On-site)

Brown & Brown is hiring a Trainee Account Broker (Trade Credit) to join a large and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring insurance professional to develop their career, working for one of the fastest growing brokerages in the industry.

This role is designed to provide Office based support for Account Managers. Day-to-day point of contact for clients in relation to basic policy administration – duties to include support with credit limits, policy documentation, overdue accounts, claims, declarations of turnover, accounting queries, processing of no claims/low claims bonuses,

The day to day:

• Supporting/advising clients with credit limit applications, appeals and monitoring progress of these.
• Support for clients in relation to accounting queries – premium payments, policy adjustments etc.
• Support for colleagues in relation to management of renewal negotiations.
• Establishing and maintaining client records in hard copy files and Goldmine database.
• General administrative tasks

About you:

• Ideally have some Financial Services or Insurance experience
• Good communication skills and customer focused
• Attention to detail and deadlines
• Accurate record keeping
