Job Description

We currently have a fixedterm, fulltime opportunity for a Train Presentation Attendant to join our team at the Rockhampton Rollingstock Maintenance Facility on a 12month contract, with the potential to extend for the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering highquality cleaning, presentation and minor maintenance services across both our rollingstock and the wider facility. This includes ensuring trains, workshops, amenities and associated site areas are maintained to a consistently high standard.

Purpose That Counts – Some of the responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleaning and presentation across passenger rollingstock to support safety and customer experience.
  • Supporting the reliability and availability of trains through minor maintenance activities and accurate recording of work in maintenance management systems, including SAP.
  • Performing all tasks in line with safety, health and environmental requirements, and contributing to the efficient operation of the depot through other associated duties as required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and productively with others in cleaning, minor maintenance or similar operational environments.
  • Well-developed manual dexterity and coordination skills suited to hands‑on work activities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, supported by sound literacy and numeracy capabilities.
  • Practical understanding of, and ability to apply, quality improvement principles and workplace health and safety legislation.

Remuneration

This is a fixed term, full-time position based in Rockhampton at our Gracemere depot. The base salary range is as follows - $70,578 - $77,050 based on a 76 hour fortnight. This does not include super or any allowances.
