Trailer Truck Driver job profile

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Trailer Truck Driver to apply for different logistic and transport companies in Slovenia and Croatia!

As a Trailer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering to our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Trailer Truck Driver duties and responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials
• Plan and manage distribution to manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items
• Inspect for safety issues
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Plan best route options
• Plan and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log your work expenses
• Comply with rules and regulations
• Collect, analyse and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Trailer Truck Driver requirements and qualifications

• Min. 3 years of experience as a Trailer Truck Driver, international experience is an advantage
• Min. 2 years of experience with electronic equipment and software such as GPS, AVL units or CB
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Good knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
• No driving violations
• Willing to submit to background/alcohol and drug checks on a regular basis
• Trucking school diploma
• Current truck driving licence
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Graduated from Primary and Secondary school or Vocational school.

  • Salary: competitive salary - 40 hours a week, b onus-es for work results after 6 months;
  • Working hours: cca174 - 185 monthly
  • Over time work: paid overtime hours as per law
  • Accommodation & meal: Provided accommodation & meal allowance
  • Working hours: shift - 7 hours/6 days a week
  • Mentoring processes during orientation period
