This is a direct placement, full time position with White Tank & Truck Repair.

Schedule: Full Time, Overtime Available

White Tank & Truck Repair is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team in Belleville, IL.

We specialize in tank trailer service and repair, including dry bulk and liquid tank systems. This role focuses on trailer diagnostics, structural repair, ABS systems, and component installations.

Compensation

• Entry-Level Technician: $20.61/hour
  
  • Eligible for 5% increase every 6 months
    
• Veteran Technician: Up to $34.35/hour
  
• Additional $3.00–$3.50/hour premium pay available for higher-level skill sets
  
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half

Responsibilities

• Tank trailer service and repair (dry bulk and liquid)
  
• ABS diagnostics and repair on trailers
  
• Air leak diagnostics and brake system repair
  
• Suspension and axle work
  
• Valve, gasket, and hose repairs
  
• Blower, pump, and hydraulic installations (when applicable)
  
• Welding and structural repair
  
• Trailer inspections and preventative maintenance
  

Qualifications

• Experience working on tank trailers preferred
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude
  
• ABS troubleshooting experience
  
• Welding and fabrication skills a plus
