You will play a strategic role in the design and delivery of large-scale projects related to intelligent transportation systems, traffic signals and their programming, roadway lighting, as well as various specialized transportation electrical engineering projects. Job Responsibilities

  • Design plans and carry out technical analyses for traffic signal and roadway lighting projects
  • Prepare technical reports and electrical engineering specifications
  • Conduct photometric studies using specialized software
  • Perform traffic signal simulations and programming using specialized software
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates in accordance with established methods
  • Coordinate projects with clients, internal teams, and external partners
  • Oversee work carried out by contractors and ensure compliance with technical requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any other relevant experience
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the design and supervision of projects related to mobility, intelligent transportation systems, traffic signals, or roadway lighting
  • Proficiency in AGI32 software for photometric studies; AutoCAD is considered an asset
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
  • ASP Construction card (Construction Health and Safety certification), considered an asset
