Your Challenge:
As transport infrastructure becomes more complex and design standards continue to evolve, the accuracy and clarity of technical drawings are critical to successful project delivery. Road alignments, corridor models, intersections, construction documentation, Civil 3D design packages, Road layouts, traffic control plans, and construction details must be clearly documented to ensure safe, efficient, and buildable outcomes.
The challenge is to transform engineering concepts and design intent into precise, compliant, and well-coordinated road design deliverables that support planning, approval, and construction. Your work will play a key role in ensuring that traffic and road design solutions are communicated clearly and implemented effectively on the ground.
Your Role as Traffic & Road Design Engineer:
You are detail-oriented, technically curious, and take pride in producing high-quality road design solutions and drawings. You enjoy working closely with engineers and technical persons, translating engineering briefs, design inputs, and authority requirements into accurate Civil 3D models and design documentation that meets project and authority requirements.
As part of a collaborative transport planning and traffic engineering team, you will support the design, preparation and delivery of road design drawings across a wide range of traffic and road design projects. You are comfortable working in a project-based environment, open to learning, and motivated to build your technical skills and experience in traffic and road design.
Your Responsibilities and Professional Development:
Based on your experience, you will support project teams by preparing and maintaining CAD drawings for traffic and road infrastructure projects. You will work closely with senior engineers, designers, and technical persons gaining exposure to road geometry, intersections, traffic control devices, and construction documentation.
