What you’ll do (but not limited to):

Project Work

• Develop, implement, and monitor Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes to support safe project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure traffic controls remain effective, compliant, and well maintained.
• Identify and mitigate traffic risks, congestion issues, and impacts to road users, pedestrians, cyclists, and workers.
• Develop robust options assessments to justify road closures, lane restrictions, and traffic management activities required for project works.
• Work closely with site teams and stakeholders to deliver traffic management solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on compliance, traffic performance, incidents, and operational requirements.
• Attend stakeholder meetings, provide traffic management updates, and maintain accurate records and meeting minutes.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with legislative requirements and Georgiou's HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Complete all required Nominated Traffic Officer duties if required.

Precontract Work

• Prepare traffic staging drawings & options analysis to facilitate estimating team preparing tender submissions
• Provide constructability advice, and identify risk and opportunities drawing from previous project and contracting experience
• Develop constructability sequence drawings (in CAD & 3d visualisations where possible) to bolster tender submissions.

What you’re good at:

• 7+ years' experience in a similar Traffic Manager role
• Demonstrated ability to perform as a Nominated Traffic Officer on TMR projects.
• Completed the Transport and Main Roads approved Traffic Management Design Training Course (TMD)
• RPEQ, or the ability to obtain this certification is highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in traffic management planning, design, and delivery on large scale civil infrastructure projects
• Preparing and implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Effective planning, scheduling, and resource management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
