We’re looking for a Traffic Management Operative (TMO) to join our Banks Peninsula Maintenance team! You’ll support day-to-day traffic management and general labouring activities on site, helping us keep our people and road users safe while we deliver quality work for our customers.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

As a TMO, you’ll be part of our frontline crew supporting the safe and efficient delivery of the Banks Peninsula Road Maintenance Contract. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll work across different sites, following plans and instructions from your Foreman or Supervisor. You’ll play a key role in keeping work areas safe, tidy and well organised, and you’ll be an important part of the team that helps us deliver jobs safely, on time and to a high standard.

  • Carry out traffic management related labouring tasks as directed by your Foreman or Supervisor.
  • Lift, move and set out traffic management equipment safely.
  • Actively take part in daily pre-start meetings.
  • Support the team with any other general tasks needed to get the job done safely and efficiently

  • Full Clean Class 1 driver licence (Class 2 is advantageous).
  • A strong focus on safety and doing the right thing for your team and the public.

  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A problem solver who can think ahead and take pride in a job well done.
