Position: Continuity Coordinator

Department: TEGNA Commercial Operations

Location: Any TEGNA market

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the entry of traffic instructions of commercial copy with a high level of accuracy while providing exceptional customer service to clients, agencies, and TEGNA stakeholders
  • Assist in confirming commercial copy from all delivery systems, FTP, and outside sources
  • Retrieve necessary information regarding traffic instructions and materials, view materials for quality control, and ensure material locations (in the material server and in WideOrbit) are up-to-date and accurate
  • Ensure commercial materials are received and downloaded by the daily deadline
  • Work closely with internal (Station Sales Departments) and external (businesses, production houses, and advertising agencies) customers in a professional manner
  • Build and maintain relationships with the TEGNA Commercial Operations (TCO) teams and TEGNA Streaming Center (TSC)
  • Provide support and backup to team members to ensure high standards are maintained across all properties served by the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address any issues promptly and efficiently
  • Adhere to established protocols and guidelines when completing assigned tasks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Offer constructive feedback and innovative suggestions to enhance and streamline processes
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in traffic or sales support in broadcast, cable or radio
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressure
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are a must
  • Ability to effectively solve problems with a sense of urgency
  • Creative and able to adapt quickly to change
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management
  • Proficient with computer software/applications, including Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • WideOrbit traffic system knowledge (required)

Pay Range
$20.67$26.44 USD
