The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties related to roadway signing and traffic control projects. On-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration, ensuring devices remain in proper location and working condition.
• Install prefabricated directional and informational signs by hoisting into place and fastening to frameworks.
• Read and work from plans to accurately locate, drive posts, and position signs.
• Perform related signing work, including delineators, pavement striping, striping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, and detours.
• Service, maintain, and repair equipment and traffic control devices as needed.
Job Requirements
• Reliable attendance with the ability to report to work on time each day.
• Dependable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high and low temperatures.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications and Skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor training is preferred; however, training may be provided during employment.

Our certified flaggers are experienced in maintaining a safe and effective flow of people and vehicles throughout a work site. From workers on a job site to pedestrians passing through, they’re equipped to handle any situation. Their training has prepared them to handle large infrastructure projects, like heavy highway sites, to smaller workzones like state and city road closures. Creating safety in a work-zone is their top priority.
