Job Shift: MorningTraffic Control Attendant for Sunday Morning Services
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $22 per hour
Schedule: Sundays, 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Are you someone who enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and helping people start their day with ease? We’re looking for friendly, reliable Traffic Control Attendants to support Sunday services at a vibrant church community in Chicago.
About the Role
As a Traffic Control Attendant, you’ll be the first point of contact for hundreds of churchgoers arriving for worship. Your presence helps create a smooth, welcoming experience by ensuring vehicles move safely and efficiently throughout the parking areas.
What You’ll Do
- Direct vehicle flow into, out of, and around the church parking areas
- Maintain a safe environment for both drivers and pedestrians
- Provide clear, respectful communication to guests and team members
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust as needed
- Represent the church with positivity, patience, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable directing traffic and being on your feet for 6+ hours
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communicator with a calm, courteous demeanor
- Prior traffic or event control experience is helpful but not required we’ll train you!
