As a Trade Lifecycle Associate II within JPMorganChase, you will use your expertise in technology, automation, and trading operations to directly influence risk management, process optimization, and business outcomes. You’ll leverage cutting-edge tools—such as Alteryx, UiPath, Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), and advanced data science methodologies—to automate workflows, extract insights from complex trade documentation, and drive operational excellence across all asset classes. Job responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Technology Solutions: Develop and deploy automation for document extraction, trade validation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making using Alteryx, UiPath, Python, LLMs, and data science techniques.
  • Trade Lifecycle Management: Lead comprehensive reviews and validation of OTC, note, and equity derivative trades—including structured and exotic products—ensuring accurate reconciliation in risk management systems and compliance with official documentation (Termsheet, Legal Confirmation, Pricing Supplement).
  • Data Science & Analytics: Apply machine learning, NLP, OCR, and statistical modeling to analyze deal structures, risk attributes, and operational data, providing actionable insights and predictive models to support deal reviews and operational decisions.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Develop automated reports, dashboards, and documentation for deal reviews, ensuring timely completion and adherence to business deadlines.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Operations, Risk, Trading, Legal, and Technology teams to resolve issues, strengthen risk controls, and deliver technology-driven solutions. Present findings and process enhancements to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancement of methodologies, controls, and tools through automation, data science, and technology. Champion best practices and influence change across the organization.
  • Strategic Projects: Participate in initiatives focused on operational excellence, risk mitigation, process optimization, portfolio transitions, and system testing.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Alteryx, UiPath, Python, LLMs, and data science tools (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, R) for automation, document extraction, and analytics in financial services or trading operations.
  • Deep understanding of trade lifecycle management, risk controls, and financial products (equity derivatives, structured/exotic products), including options trading strategies and hedging techniques.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks, data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI), and machine learning/NLP/OCR technologies.
  • Experience with risk management systems, trading platforms, and trade documentation.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated success in driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior management and diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • CFA, FRM, MBA, or relevant technical certifications (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath, AWS, Azure, Automation Anywhere, Data Science).
  • Experience with global equity markets and cross-border transactions.

Familiarity with advanced data analysis techniques, financial technology platforms, and cloud-based data solutions
