Trading Sales Supervisor is responsible for
driving profitable vehicle trading
operations
through accurate valuation, strategic pricing, and
rapid execution of sales into the open market. The role focuses on
margin optimization, inventory turnover,
and market execution
, ensuring vehicles are bought right,
priced competitively, and sold efficiently.

oversee
vehicle valuation
processes
, ensuring accuracy based on condition, mileage,
demand, and market dynamics.

Set
buy and sell pricing frameworks
that balance competitiveness with margin targets.

Approve
valuation outcomes and pricing decisions for traded vehicles.

Continuously
refine pricing models based on real-time market performance.

Drive the
sale of vehicles into the open market
through dealers, bulk buyers, auctions, and institutional channels.

Ensure fast
execution of trades to minimize stock aging and capital lock-up.
·
Personally lead
or support
high-value or
strategic trade negotiations
.
·
Ensure
consistent achievement of revenue, margin, and turnover targets.
·
Own inventory
performance across the trading portfolio, including stock aging, turnover
velocity, and profitability.
·
Identify
slow-moving inventory early and implement pricing or channel-shift strategies.
·
Monitor daily
trading performance and adjust execution plans accordingly.
·
Track
automotive market trends, demand patterns, competitor pricing, and resale
dynamics.
·
Translate
market insights into
pricing
adjustments and trading decisions
.
·
Advise
executive leadership on market risks, opportunities, and pricing outlook.
·
Ensure all
trading activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
·
Oversee
accurate reporting of margins, sales volumes, and inventory performance.
·
Manage trading
risks related to pricing errors, delayed sales, or market volatility.
·
Bachelor’s
degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
·
4-6 years experience in automobile trading, vehicle valuation, or used-car
marketplaces.

Proven
leadership experience managing trading or commercial sales teams.
·
Strong
understanding of vehicle depreciation, pricing dynamics, and resale markets.
·
Advanced
vehicle valuation and pricing expertise.
