Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Trading and Commercial Intern within our Oilseeds division based in either Erith, Kent or London.. This is a 12 month internship opportunity to work within the training department where you will get exposure market trends and strategies along with the opportunity to participate in the execution of trades with the support of a friendly and dedicated team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis of market trends, pricing, and trading strategies.
  • Support the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly market reports.
  • Participate in the execution of trades, including order entry and trade reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement trading strategies.
  • Conduct research on competitors, market conditions, and regulatory developments.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the trading and commercial teams.

Your Profile
  • Currently enrolled int a Bachelors or Master degree program in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS suite, particularly excel, experience with data analysis tools is a benefit.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team..
  • A keen interest in the trading and commercial aspects of the industry.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment.
