Our Energy Marketing & Trading team is excited to welcome two enthusiastic and driven individuals ready to gain exceptional hands-on experience on TransAlta's dynamic trade floor as an 18 month intern.
This opportunity is designed for recent graduates who are excited to begin their professional career in energy trading and are interested in building long-term expertise in commodity and power markets.
This program offers each successful member the opportunity work across various trade desks within our Energy Marketing & Trading organization. The role will allow you to expand your knowledge, build on your skill set, and develop personal networks within TransAlta.
As an intern, you will work directly with the front-line trading and marketing group, gaining invaluable exposure to the fast-paced energy markets. This role is a full-time, in office position for 18 months commencing in May 2027.
