Job Description

We are looking for curious, analytical, and driven final-year students or fresh graduates to join our Energy Trading Desk as Analyst Interns. This is an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to global oil and gas markets while working on a world-class energy trading desk alongside experienced traders.

  • Hands-on mentoring from experienced traders and market professionals
  • Meaningful analytical work that contributes to real trading decisions
  • A practical understanding of how markets function and how professional traders think, analyze, and manage risk

Main Activities & Key Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence and Research Analysis: Synthesizing internal research, external data sources, and public market information to develop actionable insights for internal traders and external clients
  • Hedging Strategy Development and Trade Ideation: Analyzing market data and risk dynamics to propose trade ideas and structured hedging solutions that optimize PnL
  • Process Optimization and Digitalization: Evaluating existing desk workflows and infrastructure to identify opportunities for efficiency gains through process automation and use of emerging AI applications

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Energy Studies, Business, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented individuals
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and persuasion skills
  • Comfort with processing large volumes of information and separating signal from noise
  • Willingness to question assumptions, debate ideas, and seek first-principles understanding
  • A measured comfort with taking calculated risks and making decisions under uncertainty
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
