The Role

We’re seeking two skilled and safety-focused Electricians to join our Country Maintenance team in Merredin. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will be responsible for delivering both preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of fixed and portable machinery across our network.

Based in Merredin, this role involves travel to multiple receival sites, including Warralakin, Southern Cross, Bodallin, Muntadgin, Bruce rock, Narembeen and surrounding areas.

Roster 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with additional hours and weekend work required during harvest season.  

These positions are offered on a permanent and 2-year fixed term basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery

  • Diagnosing and fault-finding PLC-controlled equipment, which includes elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems

  • Complete basic administrative tasks that are aligned to the maintenance function

  • Providing electrical assistance to our remote receival sites in the zone

  • Interpreting electrical schematics and genset powered assets

About You:

  • Holds a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence

  • Work at heights, confined spaces, EWP and forklift licence (desirable)

  • Ability to work in high grain dust concentrations

  • Experience navigating computerised maintenance systems

  • Current hazardous area installation certification (desirable)

  • SAP experience (desirable)
