We are seeking a seasoned, entrepreneurial exhibition leader to join our team. This is a unique transition role designed for a high-performing professional who thrives on building things from scratch.
You will enter as the Validation Lead, focusing on the critical early stages of concept testing, blueprinting, and market viability. Upon successfully proving your capability and organizational fit within 3 to 4 months, you will seamlessly transition into the Project Director role, taking full end-to-end ownership and P&L accountability for two major tradeshows.
Requirements
Market Viability: Read market research, draw sharp consumer/industry insights, and validate the commercial feasibility of two new tradeshow ideas.
Blueprint Creation: Ensure concept fit, verify execution feasibility, and draft the comprehensive architectural and strategic show blueprint.
Industry Engagement: Plan revenue streams, draft compelling proposals and concept notes, and organize targeted industry meets to build early momentum.
Launch Readiness: Prepare the foundational groundwork required for a successful Edition 1 launch.
End-to-End Ownership: Take complete charge of the execution and successful delivery of both tradeshows from start to finish.
Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team, including Project Managers (PMs) and the Sales Manager.
Commercial & Delivery Excellence: Oversee floor planning, pricing strategies, exhibitor sales, and overall event P&L to meet organizational targets.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience leading a B2B tradeshow end-to-end (from initial concept to final execution).
Deep understanding of the commercial side of exhibitions (floor plans, space pricing models, and exhibitor sales strategies).
Solid team management experience, with the ability to lead PMs and sales teams effectively.
Prior experience working on co-produced, partnership-driven, or association-led shows
Experience collaborating with international organizers or global partners.
Exposure to or background in the Technology or Infrastructure sectors.
Direct experience managing a full event P&L
International exhibition market experience.
