Salary Range: Trade Services Employee C8 $1,655.80 per week + 14% superannuation + allowances

Our Branch

The Engineering and Asset Management Branch is responsible for bus maintenance (both first-line at depots and second-line at Toowong Workshops), establishing and managing fleet maintenance policies, procuring fleet assets, maintaining electrical charging infrastructure, investigating incidents, managing non-bus assets and facilities, overseeing major projects, and coordinating IT requirements for the division.

To be successful you will have:

• proven experience diagnosing, fault finding and repairing electrical systems, plus planned maintenance on buses/heavy equipment
• ability to plan, prioritise and deliver high-quality work safely, efficiently and cost-effectively
• confidence interpreting complex manuals and producing clear sketches/diagrams to support electrical work
• a strong team mindset: give/receive feedback, meet performance standards and provide guidance to apprentices/trade assistants/contractors
• experience using maintenance systems such as SAP or similar to manage work, parts and job records.

This role requires a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30312) or equivalent, a valid C class Drivers Licence, and you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment to assess your ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements of the role.
