Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the main duties of this role will include:

  • Help to identify trading opportunities in the market place and maximize contributions to the global P&L.
  • Maintain and develop new customer; support ADMs assets globally, and increase market participation in Spain.
  • Follow and trade cash markets in Spain.
  • Responsible for the P&L of a group of commodities.
  • Support the commercial team with the expansion of our footprint in Spain, maintain and develop new customers, suppliers as well as new line of businesses/opportunities.
  • Follow the execution of contracts and vessels, support our execution and logistics teams on all issues that may arise.
  • Maintain, develop and update commercial controls, help prepare and maintain position controls (Long/short), P&L forecasts and traded statistics.
  • Follow, Spanish supply and demand discussions, with particular focus on trade flows forecasts and estimate demand coverage.
  • Maintain, enter, develop and update contracts into the trade system. Coordinate the review and discussion of terms in our contracts with our execution and logistics teams.
  • Communicate market developments and coordination to/with ADM teams both at local level and globally through analysis, support preparation of market reports.


Your Profile

  • The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • University degree in economics, business administration, agronomy or similar.
  • Trading knowledge and previous exposure/work with trading commodities.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish are a must.
  • Experience in risk management, high degree of numeracy and technical (graphical) analysis of futures market.
  • Strong communication skills, bringing high energy and commitment, open to challenges and learning.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
