What you'll do

As a Trade & Transaction Reporting Manager, you’ll be supporting with submissions to regulators for trade and transaction reporting and making sure that control framework is adhered to and remains compliant with our regulatory requirements. We’ll also look to you to b uild and manage a team providing guidance, acting as a subject matter expert with regard to various regulatory trade and transaction reporting, data validation and data controls for certain asset class.

You’ll also be:

  • Maintaining documentation including changes in regulations, new regulatory requirements, changes in internal processes and requests to support the business
  • Supporting with exception management, reconciliations, controls testing, process management, issue investigation and resolution
  • Assisting with operational readiness preparation for new and changed regulations
  • Working with third party providers to understand synergies and drive efficiencies to the operating model
  • Working with technology partners and suppliers to make sure that deliverables are met to scope, time and budget

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone who has a good understanding of relevant asset classes rates, credit, equity, FX and futures markets including vanilla and structured trading businesses. This will ideally have been gained from working in a middle office or operations environment. We’ll also expect you to have knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and a moderate understanding of risk and control frameworks, including process documentation, control documentation and supervisory frameworks.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience in global regulations like MIFID, MIFIR and working on Regulatory Reporting and assurance
  • Knowledge of the front-to-back processes in order to maintain a stable and controlled trade environment
  • Experience of people management, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • The ability to work within governance to creatively solve business challenges
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  • The ability to maintain a focus on control and a keen attention to detail
