What you'll do

As a Trade & Transaction Reporting Associate, you’ll execute a variety of trade and transaction reporting processes, delivering accurate and timely submissions across regulatory frameworks, including Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II). You’ll play a key role in maintaining reporting quality, managing exceptions, and adhering to regulatory obligations.

As you develop in the role, you’ll also support your supervisor with day-to-day people management and contribute to the ongoing development and success of the team.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Delivering manual and automated submissions of transactions under MiFID II reporting jurisdictions through the appropriate forums
  • Taking responsibility for the exception management of trade and transaction submissions under all applicable reporting jurisdictions
  • Supporting the maintenance and improvement of Completeness, Accuracy, and Timeliness scores through effective controls and data quality checks
  • Performing reconciliations to identify missing, late, or incorrectly reported transactions, and driving corrective back-reporting
  • Assisting with regulatory queries and investigations, including root cause analysis and remediation
  • Raising and escalating regulatory reporting breaches in a timely manner
  • Maintaining documentation relating to regulatory changes, new reporting requirements, internal process changes, and business support requests

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with an understanding of relevant asset classes, including rates, credit, equity, foreign exchange, futures markets, and structured trading businesses. Ideally, you’ll have gained this experience in a middle office or operations environment. You must also have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.

Additionally, you’ll need:

  • Knowledge of front-to-back processes required to maintain a stable and controlled trade environment
  • An understanding of regulatory reporting requirements
  • An awareness of risk and control frameworks, including process documentation, control documentation, and supervisory frameworks
  • A strong control focus and keen attention to detail
