We are recruiting for a passionate Sales Support Exec to provide administrative support to our Sales Team and Trade Partners, to help drive the Celebrity Cruises business forward across UK & EMEA.

Being part of this critical team within the sales organisation, this role will support Sales Managers across UK & EMEA as well as providing best in class service to our trade agent partners.

This position plays a vital role in developing increased engagement across the sales teams’ accounts and must maintain excellent knowledge of our brand and internal processes and create efficiencies to free up time for the Sales Managers to focus on driving sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Internal Support for Sales Managers

  • Being point of contact for key trade partners in Sales Team absence, to answer and filter queries and requests, forwarding relevant and urgent queries to appropriate stakeholders within the business
  • Responsible for taking ownership of any trade escalation queries from the Account Managers, ensuring any issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner, seen through to resolution, and the Trade Partner/Account Manager is kept regularly updated
  • Attend regular calls with relevant Sales Teams and individual colleagues


External Support for Travel Partners

  • Develop and deliver regular bespoke regional and national offers to support product focus, working with Revenue Management and Sales Teams to ensure most appropriate offers are shown
  • Building relationships with our key accounts through regular contact, as well as support at trade partner meetings, ship visits, conferences and visiting our trade partners when required
  • Provide personalised support for new starters within our key accounts, supporting everyday queries, registrations, and queries for our online trade portal Celebrity Central/Cruising Power and loyalty programme Celebrity Rewards


Day to Day Tasks

  • Maintain excellent brand, product, and systems knowledge to be able to deliver a knowledgeable and genuine service to our trade partners and take responsibility for on-going self-development
  • Monitor email comms and respond via several shared inboxes, responsible for daily monitoring, prioritising and routing enquiries, maintaining inbox organisation, and ensuring timely, accurate responses
  • Support with registration approvals and travel agent queries through our online trade portal
  • Provide financial administrative support for the UK&I and EMEA Sales Teams, including raising POs, keeping accurate trackers, and processing invoice payments
  • Support with the distribution and fulfilment of brochures across all markets for brochure launch, events and sales visits
  • Support with new agency set-ups and trade partner updates within internal systems
  • Approval of co-op marketing items and administration of this process, including invoicing
  • Booking complimentary staterooms when required and supporting with this process between our Miami team and relevant trade partners

Training Support

  • Attending and supporting training events
  • Setting up and supporting webinars (Webex)
  • General administrative support (including finance)
  • Data audits of online training portal.
  • Audit and proofing of training materials

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum one year administrator experience preferably working within a sales environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good telephone manner
  • Highly organised and capable of juggling many tasks at once
  • Highly motivated and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Proactive and enthusiastic
  • Team player
  • Calm under pressure
  • Flexible working hours and travel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence with dealing with internal and external partners
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of working in a multi-channel matrix organisation
  • Knowledge of internal bookings systems would be an advantage
  • Additional language skills would be an advantage
